COREP

COREP

COREP is a non-profit consortium founded in 1987.

It provides a point of convergence for the needs of enterprise, innovative solutions developed in the Universities and Research Centres, the objectives set by Local Authorities and the interests of the new generations of graduates, that demand increasing qualifications and specialisation from the education system.

Over two decades of activity, during which the consortium has quickly adapted to the social and economic changes that this country has undergone, COREP has consolidated its role as an organisation deeply rooted within its territory, at the service of the players in the innovation field.

Currently, the Consortium can count 4 Members:

Academic Members: University of Turin,

Institutional Members: the Region of Piedmont, the City of Turin, Turin Chamber of Commerce.

In the field of education and training, COREP:

- Organises university masters courses, aimed at young graduates and professionals;

- Proposes life-long education activities to update the skills of professionals and researchers;

- Promotes joint activities between businesses, local Authorities and Universities within the framework of special projects;

- Funds and administrates study grants and work placements for university students, graduates and researchers in order to facilitate the transfer of skills from university research Centres to the world of manufacturing and services;

- Participates in European projects, both as a partner and as a coordinator.

 Thanks to the experimental initiatives undertaken over the years, such as open learning, blended methodologies  and teleconference training, COREP has enhanced training and education activities with highly up-to-date and innovative programmes, supplementing them with activities of orientation and integration of people into the world of enterprises.
